Always advocating for a cleaner surf industry, Rerip also hosts local events and awareness campaigns for surf and environmental education.
8 Locations: Drop Off Your Used Boards, Fins, and Wetsuits
Rerip has implemented an organized board collection program with local retailers and is currently working on expansion efforts.
Boards are collected and inventoried depending on their current state; unrideable and broken boards are used in recycling R&D efforts and by local artists to create unique art pieces; rideable boards are repaired and sold through Rerip’s online board shop. Some are given away to schools, non-profits, and people in need.
Not only does the recycling program allow for the responsible disposal of surfboards, it is fueling its R and D efforts for a cleaner surf industry.
DROP OFF PROGRAM
Bring em in!
Rerip collects any board in any condition. Many boards are repaired to be surfed again. Some boards are used by artists. Others are tested for Research and Development.
Rerip gives away many boards to groms near and far. Some boards are resold so Rerip can keep operating. Others are broken up so the materials can be tested for uses in other projects.
